How the Essens Perfume Business Works: The Fundamental Guide to Earning with Essens in the UK and Globally

Lowest risk way to start a Perfume Business

Essens is completely free to join. There is no membership fee nor monthly subscription to keep your Essens account active. You need to place an order within 30 days of joining and once per year thereafter. Every time you place an order the 12 months starts over.

You hold no stock (unless you want to) and rent no premises, as you work from home around your existing commitments. Consequently, you face little risk of being stuck with unsold products. Furthermore, you have no regular overheads to cover before you see a profit.

You choose your own hours. However, you must treat your perfume business like a job to succeed. In fact, a common saying in Network Marketing sums it up: ‘Treat it like a business and it pays like a business. Treat it like a hobby and it will cost you like a hobby.

Retail Profit

Every perfume has a retail price, (the price retail customers pay), and a wholesale discounted price, (the price Essens charge). The discounted wholesale price is 33.5% lower than the retail price, so the difference between the retail price and the wholesale price is retail profit i.e. your earnings. For example, a standard bottle of perfume is sold to the customer at £26.10, and you pay Essens £17.40. The difference £8.70 is yours to keep.

Free Bottles of Perfume

In addition, placing orders for 6, 9 or 12 bottles of perfume from either the standard range or the Classic+ range Essens give you 1, 2 or 3 bottles of perfume free respectively. For example, if you place an order for 15 bottles you only pay for 12 of them, so you get 3 bottles free.

The free bottles can be sold at full price, so you make 100% profit on the bottles that you haven’t paid for.

Using the example of 15 bottles that would give you earnings of £8.70 x 12 = £104.40 and £26.10 x 3 = £78.30. Total retail profit = £104.40 + £78.30 = £182.70.

Bonus Commission

Every Essens product has a points value. The points vary by product, but all points from order(s) placed within the same month, are totalled up at 11 pm (GMT) on the last day of each month. A commission bonus is paid on top of retail profit when the orders total 100 points or more. Bonuses start at 3% but go up based on the points level you achieve. The maximum bonus you can achieve is 28% of your monthly points.

For Example, a standard perfume is worth 12 points. Points are only earned on bottles you have paid for, (not the free ones). A 15 bottle order would be worth 144 points. (12 paid bottles X 12 pts per bottle = 144pts). 144 pts would qualify for a 3% bonus based on the total points so would generate an extra £4.32 in earnings.

You will earn £187.02 on a 15 bottle order. That averages out to 48% of the money the customers have paid.

Instant Earnings

Your Essens perfume business earnings are instant. You only place your order with Essens after the customer has ordered with you, and paid you, so the cash difference is yours to keep as soon as the customer has paid and you do not need to carry stock.

You can, if you prefer, collect the money upon delivery. It’s your business, so it’s your choice. Collecting the payment at the time of order is only a recommendation to avoid non-payers and subsequent returns.
